Has anyone heard anything definitive about Nissan ceasing production of the Y61 Patrol at the end of the year?
I recall hearing that the ZD30 engine would not meet emissions requirements in 2016 but other than rumors, does anyone have anything definitive?

Do they still sell the 4.8 in a y61? If they can't make the 3l meet emissions they might just keep the 4.8 around as a cheaper alternative to the y62

ZD30 pos is not an issue to bring to Euro 6 emission specs. Adding DPF and SCR to existing DOC and EGR crap is easily done. The question is why would anyone want to even buy such abomination.

What will kill Y61 is the "nanny states" driven pursuit of safety and Australian penchant for being led that way.
