Has anyone got the older rear sway bar disconnect, that come with the standard st GQ?
I have just put a 3inch lift in the rear of my truck, and now found the angle of the sway bar very steep, and was wondeering if there is any kit out there to fix this problem?

Hi mate!

Some people cut and sleeve the original disconnects to take it back to original angles.
Others (inc me) buy after market disconnects so that you can still use the swaybars on road.
Others rip off the swaybars altogether and try and convince themselves that they drive like original and make remarks like 'just drive it accordingly';)

Cheers.

If your talking about the in cab swaybar release. Contact Sudso he makes a kit for different lift sizes.

X2 for Dave. (sudso) top bloke. Pm him. I'm running no sway bars at mo. Not too bad but will be getting mod done. I would hate to be cruising at 100kph and have to swerve for something.

Cheers guys.
Yep the mod returns the sway bar to factory geometry so it works like it's supposed to and gives more sway bar free travel to suit your lift when released.
