Interesting how many people have Focal speakers now. When I got mine, some 19 years ago, they were almost unheard of here. Mine still work like when they were new. And of course if you put one in each door, it will help with your reading too, as they would be bi-Focal!

The other tricks I have used (if you are interested), is to use a thick piece of flexible plastic wrapping, like you would take off a mattress or something, and use it as a water protector. Stick a piece in the speaker mounting spot, and then put the speaker in. You may need a small hole to run your cables. Eventually the cones on my speakers fell apart, until I started doing this. Never lost once since. Trick two takes more effort if you are keen. I have not done this on a Patrol, but most moulded door trims have a space behind them, where wires go and of course speakers. I have used pieces of marine ply to mount the speaker in. Depends on how much room you have, but it makes a more solid mount, and sounds much better.

My car stereo has time correction option. No idea what that is.
Im old
But I did work out to change the HFP and LFP on the front and rears

Time correction allows for where you are sitting in the vehicle, as unlike your lounge room, you are not ideally positioned in relation to the speakers. So a small time delay can be added to each speaker, depending on the distance to the listener. It will require you to measure the distance to each speaker, and then give a setting to compensate. High frequencies only, so only midrange and tweeters.

All this stuff is to allow you to get the ideal sound stage, which is the middle of the dashboard. If that is where the music is coming from, then you have it right. Speakers in the rear should not overpower the front in this respect.

Getting the tweeters up near ear level or close enough, and pointed properly, makes a big difference. Not sure you should be thinking it is coming from the door though. Maybe a bit of tweaking of settings would alter that. Perhaps the gain on the door mids is a little high.

I like tweeters on the A pillar or on the inside of the mirror as seen above. You can get excellent results having them on the dashboard, but the sun does them no favours up there. I prefer to keep them out of the sun.
