Hey all

I have a 2.8 gu.

Just installed my ecutalk and was having a play around and noticed a couple of fault codes were showing. What could these mean? I did just pull the rebuild the engine...




And this pic is just my car at idle. Anyone notice anything that is out of the ordinary??

I cleared the codes, turned car off and then back on and the codes didn't come back up? false alarm maybe??

Get onto Benno he knows the 2.8 display pretty well mate.

My display shows different for the 3ltr, so i can not give you advice.

Also, If you moved the "X" into the clear box then selected enter, that would have cleared the codes too.

The TPS & the AFM appear similar to my readings, as does the RPMs, Volts & water temp.

error 33 is because you have disconnected your inter cooler fan sensor...

am i right

What does all the other stuff relate to?

Is 1 of those the MAF reading?

AFM = MAF voltage.
TPS = Throttle Position Sensor Voltage.
Fan = Is for the Airconditioner condensor fan.

ICV & CS dont appear on mine.

It was off for a bit during the rebuild but I'm pretty sure it was put back on before it was started.. And its deff on now.

I can't see why the other codes might be coming up?

i dont have my Patrol here at the moment to check but my running temp is around 86 deg i'm pretty sure mine idles less than that.
