Thought it might be good to see where people have come from with there patrols and see how there mods have improved there ride:D.

I'll have a crack first, these are not the very start but close, As you can see I liked playing in mud, not anymore it cost to much $$$$$$:angryfir:

A little latter on with no side steps , Bend them :p and a winch to help out

same night, You can see i different door on. This was a mod after playing with a pine tree:( broke every piece of glass in the left hand side and smashed both doors to a unrepairable state,:angryfir:

And now But never finished, sorry for being a picture whore but a picture tells a thousand words:D

Hope you enjoy, my picture story, now how about yours,
maybe 2 pics or just go over board like me, sorry.

There the only pics you can find "Coils"
Throw a few more in, especially the ones during paint, engine rebuild, removal (which time )
Be good to show the newbies how much work it took to get where it is

as long as you guys don't mind looking at pics of my bus.
Ok Cleaned up a pine tree, smashed the lhs, Another patrol decided it liked my bull bar and front right door and gaurd better then i did and had a crack at wrecking that too,

So I was sick of driving round in a POS, S I bought another Patrol. A turbp diesel with a snorkle and deluxe interior for the grand price of $800 with rego, So I drove that round for a bit till I finished my baby off.

This is the end of one patrol and the birth of a new one.
Turbo motor going in

Nice pics! I like pictures so keep them coming!!

This is how I bought my current Patrol:

Sat for 6 years under a tree and after a fresh battery it fired up real quick! Only thing wrong with it was the clutch: They filled the system with ATF!

This is after a good cleanup and after I registered and had it inspected:

It was time for SPOA!!

Finished and with 33":

Custom front bumper and ARB locker in the rear but still on 33". This was 2007:

In July 2007 I went to the US for a while but in 2009 when I came back I bought a set of 37" mudders and a front locker:

And this new body is going on there:

he is SOA (or SPOA- spring over axle), where the diffs are modified so the leafs sit on top of the diff tubes, rather than go under them. this gives lift equivalent to the thickness of the leaf pack plus the axle tube, usually like 6 to 8 inches worth!

Dont the factory deluxe flares bolt under the guards,
(Holes in flares line up with holes in guard lip)
Not threw the sides of guards and are steel not fibreglass
The fibreglass flares are called wide wheel pack flares ???
Steel factory flares fit both SWB and wagon
The wider fibreglass flares are different in rears between SWB (1 piece)
Wagon (2 piece,1 on door and other on body)
Fibreglass replacement parts in QLD do a wide style fibreglass flare for the MQ/MK
Crazy clowns first pic has the factory style deluxe flares
