front prop shaft is hitting the gear box cross member when down flexed on the drivers side, running 5inch lift with drop boxes. any ideas to fix this up??

1: less lift
2: notch and plate the crossmember.

take your pick.

I thought that was the fix for the rear?

Yeah pretty sure that will only fix the rear. Mike is on the money.

Sorry blonde moment. Didn't read the first post properly. Flipping will only fix rear. I'll keep quiet now...

i have the same set up you need 4 inc springs and it doesnt hit or you cut and notch the crossmember out only the top next to the gearbox mount and then put a half section of tube in the peice you cut out

i was blak and just cut the gap out in mine and spryed it black lol left it open cause is easy to clean anyway so no need to close up plus no one will ever see it

hi guys thay look good thow lots off work i just heat it up n give it a hit works for me on the last 4 cars or so runing 6" n 3rds arms as so you can make a full custiom cros member n bash plate that workes as well
