does any1 know if there's a fuel filter in fuel tank and a micro fuel filter in fuel pump on a 2.8gu???

i know other makes have these in there 4b's and when cleaned or replaced does a considerable differents to performance...

GQ had a filter just before the injector pump but the GU only has the main fuel filter in the engine bay

As camo said, Ive had apart now three 2.8 GU pumps and there is no gauze filter under the banjo, there is no filter in the tank either.

This filter on the GQ 2.8, is it easily gotten to and cleaned out???? Would be handy to make sure it's all good.

its located where the fuel line bolts onto the injector pump. There is a bolt there with a rather large head on in. If you remove you should find a little filter. (made of wire i think)

Cheers Camo, when I get back from holidays I'll check her out. I'm about to drive the old girl 10,000km's from Perth to Cairns so it'd be nice to know it's clean along with everything else.
