if its the original solonoid from factory there fitted with bolts that shear when they were tightend so its nearly imposable to remove without taking the pump out .if its had a after market solenoid fitted these are fitted with cap head bolts and it can be taken off in the car its a $#*t of a job to do . a new solonoid if about $340.00

it is the solenoid , my mate who does truck repairs was out and located the problem, when he tapped the solenoid it openened up and fuel began to flow...it buzzed a bit at first , now it clicks straight away.. it's going ok for now ,but will have to get it replaced.. or can you maually keep it open?
