Sorry to be a pain, but I have posted a tread under "sub tank issues" and I really appreciate all of your informative replys.
Nissan has had my truck on two occassions and cannot seem to fix the problem.
I'm a basic sort of person and think that there are simple resolutions to complex problems which should not cost us a bomb.
So why cannot I simply fit as fuel transfer pump between the aux tank and main tank ??
Does the pump need to be internal to the sub, which the current one is.
I will install a 160 ltr tank next week so don't realy care about the reading on the sub tank gauge...just need full / empty and be able to transfer contents.
Has anyone done this before and if so can you please give some ideas on fuel pump / wiring etc....
Cheers....Peter
