a flap at the back to keep the boat flat in the water, like a horizontal rudder.

Being such a small boat with big engines it would a different handling boat from full tank to half a tank. :razz:

Meh.... Down force on boats not always the best. You want it to skim across the top of the water with as little as possible touching which causes drag...

Straight line speed for sure, but a ski boat no, you need manueverability. Especially with places like the murray.

For that they have a blade like a keel. So wen the boat is at high speed on a plane only the motor and the blade is in the water. How do u think the F1 boats turn on a dime :)

Aerodynamics on the water are a compleat different ball game

yep suree those A\mericans sure know how to churn all that fuel they're fightin for in Afaganistan hey !!!

heres some more of that boat,
and what eventuates with all that power/weight on a damn transom ! LOL

That multi yamaha boat was actually a test platform for a brand of steering cylinder, teleflex morse possibly.

One steering cylinder turns all those motors.
