Thanks for the info Ross, just don’t want to start pulling on things that I’m not 100% sure how they come apart, 👍Have had it off but not for a while, from memory you need to depress a tab to release it, but it still doesn't just pop out, especially if it uas been in for years.
No power at buzzbar, removed glow plugs (new)to rule them out, checked with multi meter also all good there, just no power at buzzbar. Led still doesn’t come on , checked wiring for led, earths , glow lamp dash light comes on, just got me stumped, doing everything I can as I don’t want to take it to an auto elec unless it’s a last resort! Glow plug timer works as normal, car starts easy, no smoke at all considering mafs voltage are high as I haven’t put jaycar modifier back in.Why do you wish to open it? It is just a connection point, nothing in there bar wires and pins.
hi @MSJ , can’t help you with the part number but you can try your local Nissan dealer for info regarding that connector. I never opened mine up as it was only a last resort option. You can try the archives/maintenance section for more info also.Just reviving this thread seeking some help.
I replaced my glow plugs the other day and noticed the electrical connector in the above picture has burn marks on one or two of the pin receivers.
Does anyone know what part number this item is?
Cant find a parts diagram for this and the Haynes manual has little to no info on this plug.
It's the lower plug on the attached
