Started off good!

 

This is why i never go fishing at inskip point late at night by myself.

 

Ouchies! Hey, what' that gurgling noise? Oh S#*t, the TIDE!

 

Geez wonder what happened there? They certainly had plenty of notice about the tides, and it looks like a gentle rising given the interior pics. Maybe they simply got the lux bogged and it was all over?

 

Bugger!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

priorities fellas.you can see the brown bottle in there hands.they only noticed the truck going under when some one needed to restock the esky.you can always buy another hilux but can you ever replace that hour without a beer trying to rescue it.

 

Still want to know what happened that they couldn't drive away.

 

Help a similar guy on Staddie years back. On a calm day they drove down to water’s edge and went for swim etc. What they failed to notice is they had parked out on a sand bank. As the tide came in it filled the gutter and the escape route. They didn't realise till the water was at the tyres.

The issue was they got to where they were at road pressure (40psi) and now the sand was under water it was too soft.

1st instinct for most people would be to floor it and get out. They only went in one direction, DOWN.

Luckily they had many people on the beach to help empty the tray, whilst we dump almost all the air out. Still needed 3 snatches end to end to get enough hard sand under mine to pull him out.

The water was up to the door handles by the time we got him out.

3 different days and 3 different locations?

 

If you look at the photo's closely, they look real.

Also note the sun location and also the way the tray sides are sitting. All the same.

As they were fishing down the bank they did not realise the tide coming in from behind them as well?? Probably at a sand point (like inskip) with a fishing channel.. it is understandable. mabey, im just guessing after a close inspection!!

i reckon it got dark so they drove down the sand to use the headlights n couldnt get back up

They must have had another car as 3 people in some of the photo's, who's taking the photo's?
Single cab hilux = 3 people max....

I reckon they got pissed up, went for a drive and took it over the edge where they didn't see the water and sunk it. Sit back and watch the tide come in boys.

 

maybe the owner wanted a new car? wouldn't be the first time!
