have a look at it front on, see if it is smiling at you.

Better yet though, get a wheel alignment report. It the camber or castor is severely out of whack then you have bent the housing. Keep an eye at each end of the axle, if it begins leaking particularly from the longer side then you may have bent the housing also.

At minimum you might find you need to look at replacing bumpstops as a big hit can damage them and if they compress further than they're meant to your shocks and coils can be damaged too.

But then you'd be amazed at what these Pootrol diffs will put up with.. I've done massive air as has a mate or two and none of us ran into any issues amazingly! My mate Dave got air in his SWB Maverick by accident one week at the beach. He left no wheel tracks at all for 7 meters. Passenger door and the rear doors did not appreciate the landing but mechanically everything appears hunky dory!

PS: Did you have fun?

Yes Yom it was fun, but front feels a bit vague and it makes funny noises when on full lock.

Will definately get an alignment / front end check, I have needed to do this anyhow since putting the pro comps on.

Oddly enough this took place around the same time as I had several unatural thoughts involving 4 door rubicons, luckily another dose of patroll4x4.com has brought me back to reality. : )
