depends what you want it for. i have both. the 2 door ute has a big tray wich is good altho lacks alot of room inside. the passenger seat has very little room and if you have long legs the drivers side isnt the best eather, also ther is verry little storage room behind the seats. the 4 door ute it much better inside plenty of room. seats can fold rite back so you can power nap altho it is a bit squishy in the back for the passengers but thats not your problem it is. downside the tray is verry small but if you dont have a car full of people you got plenty of cab room for all the stuff. as far as price goes you can get wagons cheeper then utes most of the time but then you add up the cost of choping and engeneering. if you diy your looking at around 500-1000 for the chop depends who you no in the steel and window areas. and an engeneers not sure about other states but in vic i payed $1000 for myn. hope this helps.
Yeah chopped down wagon sounds like the way to go, the 2door ute doesn't sound very good especially for someones who's nearly 6'3"
My dad has his own welding business so it would probably be a diy chop,
Thanks for your help
If ya dad owns his own welding business
Why not go out side the square
And build an extended chassis full four door tray back
Youll have plenty inside room
And a full length tray to boot
