Hey all just was down at the servo filling up the patrol and went to start it and had no ignition power at all. I still have head lights and hazards but no ignition I've checked the fuses and checked the battery connections and all seem fine just wondering if anyone else has any ideas of what it could be??

Thanks Matt,

check the fusible link up on the drivers side wheel arch. before you decide to bridge it you have to figure out why it blew. With a blown fusable link you wont get power to much, from memory it was only headlights and hazards like you described.

p.s i blew mine when i accidently put the battery in backwards (i know!) so i knew what the fault was, so i pulled the fuse apart and dropped a bit of solder on it to bridge it then put it all back together, the auto electrician said this is acceptable as a perminant fix but i didnt want to trust it.

If its blown you will be able to tell by looking at it, there will be a gap in the top of the fuse.

its between your battery and your brake booster, its in a black fuse box measuring about 1.5 x 6 inch. if i remember correctly the fusable link your looking for is brown, the glow plugs fuse is in there too.

this is what it looks like, as i said i took of the clear cover at the back and pulled out the fuse and joined it with solder as a tempory fix.
