hey just wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the shift lever in the patrol auto . i can push mine into reverse when driving without having to push the side thumb button thingo in, bit of a worry if it gets bumped into reverse when doing 100kph.
i can nearly get it into park without having to press the button in... not cool

Look underneath the 4x4, Just folow the shifter linkage and you will find where to adjust it, I think its on the left side of the transmission.

Dont know the procedure 100% as ive never done on a patrol before,
But in general just loosen the nut or bolt on the linkage, then the shifter can move freely and independently from the transmission.
Put the transmission in PARK, then put the Shifter in PARK and tighten the nuts on the linkage.
Then test, You could make fine adjustments either way if required.
