Have had a progressively noisy rattle on start up and now in idle on my 2003 3ltr TD GU. Initially thought I had an exhaust bracket go AWOL. However after giving it a good looking at and finding all inorder, decided to let my usual service garage have a look.
Result is after having a number of their guys give it a good looking at, they are "95% certain" that it COULD be a loose flywheel.
Odd thing is, once you are a few revs above idle everything sounds "sweet" anybody got any ideas (cheaper than a flywheel/clutch replacement!)
