Hey guys something I dont properly understand is whether the washer spacer in the top left corner of the image that comes with some wheel bearing kits is actually required for a GU patrol?

I don't see the washer in my Haynes manual and I haven't used it in the past however when I've had my bearings replaced by mechanics they seem to use the washer..?

Check the factory service manual, rather than Haynes. The GQ manual shows a washer that matches.
