Hi folks,

Any recommendations for a turbo diesel specialist in the Cleveland 4163 QLD area as I need a performance issue to be diagnosed and fixed.

My problem is that the engine, when accelerating hard, refuses to rev past 2500 revs and a general mechanic and a diagnostic guy cannot find the issue - he suspects a turbo issue....

Not quite a needle in a haystack but the general feeling is that if I leave it much longer it could be terminal

Ask on here may get more answers. There have been plenty ask same question, check for leaking intercooler, loose clamps on hoses, check MAF, so on.
Look for small things first and save $$$

Hi gary, a partially blocked fuel filter will give you those symptoms, as will air getting into the fuel system.

Do you have boost or EGT gauges to assist with fault finding?

Check MAF. I forgot to plug mine back in the other day and it did the same
