So seems everyone else posting thier other non patrol rigs.

After selling the golden grenade, misses and i new we needed new family rig.
After going ovee lots of different options we agreed best option was trade her hyundia for a 7 seater.

And behold the new rig

2014 Mux auto.
Came with
Reverse camera
Sat nav
Redarc trailer brake unit
Uhf
Factory alloy bar
Roof racks
And arb compressor under the bonnet

Thoughts so far.
I love it as does misses thankfully.
Reckon its heaps better than the gu.
Doubt ill be aloud to fiddle with this much though.
Maybe dual battery and one side false floor for fridge. But will have to be easily removed as we need the 7 seats day to day.

As for the old gq. Well shes still my play/rainy day rig. At least i can fiddle with that still haha

been trying to tell my other half the MUX is the go, she finally agreed it should be an option today. value for money and reliability.
Every review i read was pretty much singing thier praises.

Few bad reports
Suspension bit boaty....easy fix haha.

My only real complain would really be the air con controls dont light up. Makes interior rather dark at night snd hard to adjust when you dont know where everything is.

Spose an update is due after couole years.
Finally got to properly try mux off road this summer just gone down Esperance.
Drove up wylie bay rock, got half way up before realising it hadnt clicked into 4L yet. Forgot it needs to go into neutral first.
But it went up with ease, its a nice steep little climb.

Along the beach and over couple dunes it did great.
A nice tune up would go astray but dam happy with it really.
Towing its great too, no complaints.

Decided sincebits click 130km and is coming on 6 years old id start doing my own servicing.
Hoping to do auto gearbox too myself.....lack of available workshop manuals worry me but.
Wish me luck, advice welcome....
