1993 Ford Maverick TB42 carbie on petrol

just recently the mav just wouldnt hold its idle so i had to pump it up to 2000rvs just to stop it stalling at the lights, got it back from my mechanic after him having it for a month (unrelated) and when i got it back it was fine idlling bought 900 rvs been fine for about a week then today when i pulled into the driveway it just stalled again then when i tried to start it no idle have to rev it to stop it stalling,
what can i do cause at moment its my daily driver and i need it for work ?
thanks in advance

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all the small hoses below the throttle body and on the manifold. The ones to the brake booster etc.
Also make sure the carby bolts are tight grab the carby and see if you can wiggle it. There should be no movement between the carby and manifold.
Good luck with it

Get some carby clean and run it along all the hoses gaskets manifold to head brake booster or anything vacuum related. You will tell by the revs should rise a bit when you fond something mtgs other posibility is the throttle shafts wear causing a Leak around them

The truck drives normal until u disengage the gears or they drop the minute you touch the clutch or try to let it idle
Is there an electric switch or solenoid or something that is suppose to control the idle or take over when the trucks ment to idle
This is really starting to piss me of haha
Thanks guys
