Help needed for part id

Hows it going,

I found this on the driveway this afternoon, I was wondering if anybody had seen this on a swb MK and if so where does it belong.

Clip

Looks like the cir-clip that holds the handbrake cable into the hand brake shoe drum (back of gearbox) or the hand brake shoe to backing plate. Very similar.
