Hi,
My mate bought a patrol diesel and the guy told him it has a new alternator but
its been wired wrong and needs fixing.
The battery light stays on and when I put a multimeter across the battery terminals
it was jumping between 2 and 12 volts?
I took the alternator off and got it tested and it came up 100% on the test bench.
I compared the wiring to the alternator to my diesel patrol and it all looks the same?
Its got me stuffed??
Could there be a broken wire somewhere?
