Hey guys i was looking under my truck on the weekend and noticed a bolt and nut missing on the steering knuckle i think it's call i have taken some pic's to show you guys anyway haha I just got back from nissan with a new bolt and nut but not to sure how to set it to the deapth any help would be great.

That is used to limit your steering so that your tyres don't catch on lock.

It can be adjusted to suit whatever tyre size you have.
Turn the nut until it touches the head of the bolt and screw it all the way into the housing.
Turn your steering wheel until the tyre catches something (Probably a radius arm).
Then turn it back until you get some clearance (I'd adjust it by eye, but perhaps someone can give the Nissan stated dimension?).
Then screw the bolt out until it touches the other housing and tighten the lock nut up.

Give it a check and it should be apples.

You should now have a similar turning circle to a battleship, which is normal ;)
