Hi mount v low mount winch pros and cons?

What is it going to be mainly used for? Biggest advantage with the high mount is the extra cable or rope you can fit on.

Other than that in stock form they arnt much faster than a decent low mount. Also due to their popularity they seem to fetch a fair price second hand.
