Anyone got any ideas why all of a sudden my revs are sitting a bit higher than normal and when I give it some revs they take a long time to come down. 02 gu patrol. Only started 2 days ago and all I’ve done recently is take off the 33’ mud terrains and put the road tyres back on
Are you talking about idling higher and free revs taking a long time to come down?
You haven't hit the heat switch have you? Only other thing I'm aware of effecting revs is a TPS issue.

Nah heat switch is off. It revs up as normal but when I let my foot of the accelerator with the clutch in to slow down the revs take along time to return to idle revs. What’s a tps issue?
TPS is throttle position sensor, meaning accelerator works electronically through electronics in the pedal mechanism talking to the ECU, not common but also not unknown for the TPS to chuck a hissy and play up.
Voltage can be measured, with ign on the voltage should be around 0.4v with foot off the pedal and around 4.8v with pedal at 100%.
