Just thought I would add mine 2000gu had approximately 222000 kms with no nads. Didn't grenade just cracked 3-4 on the head. Pulled apart pistons all good. Cracked two weeks after I was thrashing the hell out if it for about 45mins in waist deep mud. All by myself so I had to try. Tried too hard I think ended up leaving it their overnight and got my Nissan terrano to snatch it out! I guess exhaust temps were sky rocketing as I was constantly redlining it for that long With hardly any movement. Ened up digging myself in more and more!

Year 2000, Y61 3.0 Di, 276.000km. Bought it used last year, at 258.000, broken turbocharger. Replaced it, everything is perfect since. NADS fitted and water/meth injection also.

2001 GUII ...... 269k original motor, cracked head @ 265ish, fitted NADS now so fingers crossed I will see another 200? :crazy:

Now have 320000 on my Di. I cracked the head at 295k by driving thru waist deep slime and the driving up the Toowoomba range. I cant blame the 3.0l for that
