Well I should update for the last time on mine. 2002 with 346000klms on the clock and the only thing that I ever replaced was the draglink. No NADS or fancy stuff, so I was happy for the 13yrs that I owned it but it was time for it to be moved on. ;)

That's what happens when you live on a little island. When you live on a big island like most of us here, you do big kilometres.
;) absobloodylutely 13000k in one trip just to say hi to a couple of mates in WA.

But having said that Dan has over 400,000k on his 2004 in Ireland.

I wish I could convince my family to do a 13,000km trip with me...The furthest I've been outside Point Cook is Lake Eildon.

Mine's build date is Sep-2014. I'll post here when I'm on 10,000km.

I know what you mean, but it's low mileage by UK standard too - the guy I bought if off had it 12 years and was 86 years old when he decided to give it up for something smaller (he'd dinged all 4 corners of the bumpers!). Most 2002's have over 150k miles on them over here, still a lot less than in Oz.

Given the number of people who have had an excellent run out of their 3.0 TDs (including my 323,000 km before I sold it as I was going overseas), I'd say it has a bad name for no real reason.
Missus zd30 2006 Navara has done 453000 ks, only work to engine was new water pump and thermostat at 410000, a fantastic little engine. Based on this good outcome I recently bought an 06 patrol zd30 with 178000 kms and have already replaced glow plugs and suffered a flywheel failure, Patrol now has 211000 kms and appears to be (touch wood!) reliable.

This was a good read for a ZD30 owner. (y)
I’ve just seen a 2002 model on ebay with 295,000 miles on it (475,000km!). Doesn’t mention anything about any sort of mods. Mines on 125,000 miles / 200,000km which is nothing by comparison . I’m doing a bit of a major service this weekend, waiting on a new tensioner/ belt from Nissan. Hoping to keep this vehicle on the road for many years to come!

I just would like to add that my Gu3 DI now has clocked over 350k km. Owned the car since new (Jan. 2004); no great mods at all, just a chip, Provent Separator; long range fuel tank, draws, reverse camera. Only ever had a few things to fix - like new clutch; Egr pipe (warped at the block) and also the exhaust manifold (warped at the block). All other parts are still the same and in good order. Have it serviced every 10k at the same dealership I bought my car from. Still runs as smooth as ever, maybe a little louder when cold but that is all. Oh and the turbo is starting to just become a little louder, but I guess I am picky here.
