I'd love to get rid of the Ginger Witch and bring Rudd back, at least we know he genuinely cared for his what his job stood for. I admit he was a bit nieve but at least his heart was in the right place.

I used to watch Rudd and Joe Hockey on Sunrise TV a few years ago and even then I knew he would be the next Prime-Minister, Hockey was not even a good liar.

I am interested to hear all view points.

As for Anna, yeah she's looked good since Monday but up till then she was not doing a lot flood wise. Would I vote Labor for QLD government - no, they've had their turn. Don't forget the asset sell offs, fuel subsidy backflip and waste of money on zero projects and jobs for their spouses and mates.

Actually if I could resurrect any politician right now, it'd be Jim Soorley. Just so we could beat the sh*t out of him for poor town planning in the 1990's and early 2000's.

Rudd is purely self indulgent and Politically driven, that carp about helping out in the flood carrying bags , running from suburb to suburb till the media caught up etc, if his minders had not goaded him into it and set it up it would never have happened, it was just too shallow for words, just done for media, Wonder we didn't see julia roll her pants suit up and wade in, but thats because kev beat her to it and it would have looked like the stunt it was, and capt bligh weeping crocodile tears reading a media release prepared by her minders, pathetic media fodder.

She is driving the media, notice that not one other department manager, minister except fot the tame emerg services minister, is allowed to say anything to the press, probably upon pain of death.

I cant understand how blind the media and general public is. The Qld State opposition is just as bad, by their sheer absence. Not one word of support or sympathy for anyone. Federal opposition not a great deal better. The talking budgie smuggler has given one press conference and a couple of news grabs.

Politics in this country stinks just as much as the fetid icky sticky mud left from the flood waters.

Just before the waterworks she was the Premier of the most hated state Gov in the land with 23% popularity and sliding whose Gov most Qld'rs hated with a passion... and now the popular sentiment is go Federal and run for PM.

Sure she absolutely craps on Dillard (dead person walking) BUT you still end up with the same party that you hated only weeks ago...

Now, if she ran as an independant... THEN you get the person not the Party and see what people are truly capable of... good or bad
