if you have a diesel they do have an oil pump on the back of the alternator, with a return hose and an inlet, the copper washerd on mine shagged out and dropped a sump load of oil. Quite easy to change yourself and ive got a thread on here with pix.
The oil could be comming from anywhere start at the top and work down.
