The Googlest, Apparently!
(warning, dad joke)
Ha, once upon a time it was just racism and used mainly in context by african americans.
Which leads us right back to:Ha, once upon a time it was just racism and used mainly in context by african americans.
Now, it is used to self identify by the left so they can shout screaming abuse and intolerance to anyone who does not agree with "their" individual leftist ideology.
There was a survey recently in Oz about woke.
And it revealed that plenty of Aussies don’t even know what the word woke means, with data revealing most Australians are either unfamiliar with the term, or would describe themselves as woke when they were not.
Just over four in 10 Australians couldn’t identify the meaning of the word, while only 26 per cent described themselves as woke.
Surprisingly, of those who described themselves as woke, three in five, or 59 per cent, were major party voters, more were Coalition voters than Greens voters: 24 per cent to 22 per cent.
Today, in Oz, it simply means those of the culturally totalitarian left.
Further, a recent survey conducted by the US Cato Institute found that 62% of Americans believe that the current political climate prevents them from saying things they believe because others might find them offensive.
Those who responded in this way included most strong conservatives, conservatives, moderates and liberals. Strong liberals (left-wing American progressives) were the only group of which most members felt comfortable expressing themselves.
This is exactly what we should expect from a culture of self-cancellation, those who agree with the ascendant leftist narrative feel emboldened to speak loudly, while the rest of society stays quiet.
Life is a funny ol' ball of wax lol.
