So I got the call yesterday that I have a gas rig to pick up at Boulia in Western Qld, to escort on a little trip to Alice Springs. We have been told to pack and extra 200 liters of juice each as we not be able to get fuel for about 1200km. Take food for a week or so and enough water. I will not be back for a week or so but the pics will be published here when I return.

We picked up our loads at Marqua Station and and headed off to Argadargada. The loaded trip was about 750km on the Plenty and sandover Hwys with a total of 5000km from home to home again. Managed to catch up with some old friends in Mt Isa on the way home and had quite a few beers. All in all it was a bloody good trip
