Hey boys, got a driving light out. It's got power and earth in the the little holes where the globe goes in. The test light lights up but the globe won't. tried globe from working light but still no go. What the hell is goin on here???

Any ideas.

240's are the HID model yeah????
If so it'll be your ballast. try the "bad" globe in the good light.

If they are not HID the use a multimeter to confirm that you have power at the light.

It's all about process of elimination.

They would be halogen or he could have got a bad shock at about 23,000 volts. lol Thats what a standard 35 watt HID bulb need to fire up.

It sounds like to have a wire off between the output plug on the light and the plug which the bulbs plug into. I'm guessing the inside of the output plug has a wire off mate.

Yeah they halogens. Both globes work in the good light. Only the test light works in the bad light. Got me stuffed. I'll dig deeper an see what's going on.
