Hi guys,

Iv got a GU ute stock with a set of 33's

It a bit low at the front and i keep hitting the loop bit under the radiator as the fctory alloy bar sits a bit higher. I have attached a pic, the bit im talking about is between the 2 silver hooks. Its part of the chassis from what i can see.

What i would like to know is if its of any concern it it gets a bit of bashing around or not?
(not my car in picture, just one of the inter webs)

Cheers

Pete

The loop bit is the factory crossmember below the radiator. It is prety strong so not much is going to hurt it. More of a worry if you are hitting sticks or rocks that could flick up into the radiator or fan.

So it is better to fit a bash plate to protect the gap and prevent anything going up to the radiator. The crossmember is not fragile at all.
