with the above question ,is it wise or possible to clean it with wd40 instead of the elec parts cleaner . just wondering before i go buy electrical parts cleaner .

Possible, Yes, Wise No...

WD40 will leave a residue that crud will stick too and defeat the purpose of cleaning it in the first place.

Contact cleaner is cheap enough so IMHO grab a can

Definitely not! WD40 is a lubricant, amongst other things, you need an electronics component cleaner that dissolves oils etc and leaves no residue whatsoever.

Contact cleaners cheap. MAF's are bloody dear!
