I have a question about manual mirror to electric mirror conversions.

I’m curious if it is at all possible to modify the manual mirror door to accommodate the electric mirror?

I understand that the bailey channel, weather strips, and window is different but what im more interested in is that corner bracket thing that holds the mirror in place.

is That bracket I’m referring to welded in or bolted in? Can it be removed and reinstated into another door?

id love to do the conversion without having to change the doors. I can get away with bogging up manual mirror holes and doing small paint repair to smarten it up but having to change both doors is such a ball ache.
