Evening all, fantastic little forum you have here. Been reading with much interest lately and have decided to join. Pleased to meet you all.
I have a question if I may. I own a 98 GU Patrol. My intentions are as follows:
1. Remove the back seat. The 2 fold up pillar seats have already been removed.
2. Have a floor pan cut out (possibly MDF) to fit in the back that runs from the back of the front seats all the way down to the rear doors.
3. Have 2 slide out drawers attached under the floor pan.
4. Have a matress fitted and placed on top of the floor pan for trips away.
To anybody knowledge, are there any legal implications in what i propose to do?
Does my patrol by law need to have a back seat fitted?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers guys and gals
