Well a update on the story as it unfolds with Chris. i am very happy to tell every one that he has refunded my deposit in full and is still offering me the bars fitted at no cost. i am very happy that Chris has decided to do the right thing. his reason for the long delay was a stuff up with a die for his bender , which he wanted me to see in person that he wasn't lying.

I'm sure the bleeding hearts will soon demand this persons name be removed from this thread as they might be worried he'll loose business he dosen't deserve.

They don't like protecting people from con merchants but seem to like protecting the con merchants from truthful publicity.

I don't really care either way and I know the other mods won't either. Really all I can pick at fault in this thread is bozzy186 using fairly severe language towards the allegedly dodgey bloke.

It is a shame he may not jump online to deliver his side of the story. The internet is a dangerous place and you really can't expect everything to be on it to be true!

"cheap man pays twice" my thoughts is if your getting stuff like this made up or installed whatever and you dont know the person go to a desent workshop not some dodgey backyarder coz he can knock a couple a bucks off and because some other two bob joe says yeah hes a good bloke bla bla bla,

I have a backyarder who is good, cheap and very reliable. Done several jobs for me and is always on time or quicker and always on budget so they are out there you just have to find them.

when i was younger, all i ever used was backyarders,
money wasnt readilly available.
But having a wife n kids now, and im grown up (LOL)
i wouldn't dare take a risk like that , i feels for ya !

This is not always true, i try my very hardest to sell the best products i can for the lowest prices, i will challenge you to find a person that i have given bad service or have not helped out anyway i can, be it a private phone call at anytime of the day or even offer to install there gear for free if they come to my house

Just saying, not always the "cheap man pays twice" rule applies

The myth of backyarders is rubbish

Customer service goes along way,there are many things that can be outta a business control
