Got My 2nd patrol about 1 month ago it's a 89 model Gq here's the specs. Had to buy it once i seen it, an old guy has had it since new. All i've done is rims, tyres and spotlights. Has 261,000 and bought it for $10,000

looks good mate, you find much rubbing with 33" tyres?

Good pick up on the GQ, (I still miss my old GQ 4.2 petrol a lot)
how do you find the ride between the swb and lwb GQs?

They do scrub alittle at front full lock reverse, getting 3-4" lift asap to fix that. The ride difference was alot going from swb to lwb, lwb by far alot smoother and not as much jolty in ride to swb.

Wonderful! I've been searching for this :) Tires fit perfectly ^_^

Do you have more photos of that nice Patrol? Because I'm thinking of getting the best tire size for standard lift, as I do want it stable and it even would look great with similar tyres.

But, is that the maximum size that it can take safely? or I can go 34"? I've got rid of the inner guards anyway.

Mine on 32x11R16



Thinking of 33x12.5R15 or slightly larger.

33" would be absolute max they do scrub alittle on full flex with -23 offset rims

Got a pair of adjustable upper arms from roadrunner offroad cheers mate, and put GU scoop on for more air too cool turbo got that for $60 its factory seconds. :D
Next is rear light bracket and sliders
