If the advancement from the ATZ to ATZ P3 is anything to go by these will be incredible.

The ATZ P3 are quieter than the Bridgestones my work patrol came with.

From what I can see they have cutouts at the edge to reduce chipping, interspersing ridges for noise reduction, and the improved rock chucking slit design.

But $580 a corner?

Just threw some MTZ P3's in a 265/75R16 on brothers colorado.
Good looking tyre. $356inc balancing each.

I've been quoted $376 inc balancing for 285/75R16s.

This is with me dropping the wheels off for strip and refit.

So im guessing the P3 is a new style.
Hopefully wont have a re-hash of the sidewall crack debacle from a few years back.

EDIT: Ooops didnt realise this thread was 9 months old. Was looking for reviews on the P3 style MTZ. no bad reviews yet?

For a bit of feedback, I have the ATZ P3 and they are heaps more grip on the road than the old ATZ, so I assume the MTZ P3 will be the same.

I have done a trip around Australia last year, no punctures and tread chipping has been OK. There is some minor tread chipping mostly on the rear tyres but better than the old ATZ and a milion times better than previous Coopers ST and Procomp Xterrain.
So if the new compound improvement in the ATZ P3 is anything to go by, the MTZ should be good.
