Hello all, recently I went along and took the plunge and bought a Patrol. I've only had it for a few months at this point and then came across this forum so here I am.

I am from SEQ and yeah, kinda wanted to hunt around for some info about my car and what's possible with it.

Oh yea, the car, it's an 04 GU 3.0TDI ST-L Manual, so far its been a great car, killing my wallet at the pump but apart from that amazing.

You all might see me around on this forum, probably asking for help about offroading and/or installing things but yea, thats me.

You came to the right place, no one knows more about the DI than us, we have a whole archive section dedicated to them so happy reading. I own a 2000 DI that I have had since new, so been there, done that, have a T shirt to prove it and I actually do .

Welcome! interesting to hear your efficiency with the 3L DI is bad. I have yet to get through a whole tank on mine so can't really comment on it at this stage, but I'd hoped it would be pretty reasonable

G’day and welcome. Plenty of info on here to help you out, plus you need to elaborate more on your poor fuel economy. There pretty good usually for a 3 tonne brick.
