Get what you pay for. Safari heads can be rotated and are designed to have the water drain down the insides of the head and outside the snorkel. But otherwise good buy! :)

As long as you are happy it's all good but FYI the snorkel is $11 off RRP and the weathershields $5 off RRP so they saved you $21. Not such a fantastic deal IMHO.
More shopping would have saved you more money. Just so you know for next time.

my point is its genuine,,, so much for stealership as quoted on here plenty of times,,, have you seen the weather shields from autobarn there just stick on with no clips,, and dont line up properly... i couldve saved 100 bucks on snorkel but didnt want below australian standard..

I understood you. Don't think you understood me. The prices you paid are only very slightly under genuine Nissan RRP. As I say if you are happy all is good. Just trying to save you money next time.

well maybe, its taken me months of research n months of ebay to get that price, you try bidding on a snorkel on ebay every man and his dog wants 1... dont forget there is so much crap out there,,, safari or genuine was my pick..

it's all good, the genuine snorkel is a tjm airtek snorkel and the water drains out of the head the same way as the safari does. best of all it was cheaper that having "airtek" embossed into it.

good one i say.

Genuine stickers and badges

FYI, I have dabbled in the cheap ebay stuff as the genuine prices seemed steep, I now only buy genuine via contacts like Nizzbits on here or other, direct, dealer opportunities.

Stickers and badges are well worth the ask price I believe, they stay on, are chromed properly and last in outback conditions as they were designed to do. I had a hamburger badge on the back pop off 2 weeks after fitting and side stickers peeled off after 3 car wash sessions, by hand and me on the water gun.

The Fyi's above are info that whilst U r happy now, as a member of the forum your online mates want you to be aware that dealer direct is not the only option to buy genuine Nissan gear at very good prices, there are other avenues to get better than you mentioned prices above on a regular basis on most available genuine product.
