Hi there , Jordan here from New Zealand. I have a jap import 24v Swb 1990 Nissan safari . The cigarette lighter was 24v and I wanted to make it 12v . So I removed the dash and cut the 24v power of . And splinned the power into the blue wire coming out of the clock (acc 12v) . And problem solved (so I thought) . Plugged my little fridge (works fine in ford courier) into the cigarette lighter and it worked for 30 sec then I lost power to the clock and the cigarette lighter . So I thought ok I have blown a fuze . Nope no blowen fuzes but no power ? It doesn't help that it is all in Japanese but I checked the fuzes twice and there all fine. So I started doing continuity tests and I can't seem to find we're the blue wire goes . We're is the 24 - 12 reducer ? And is that my problem ? Everything alse works fine including the stereo and cb and instrument cluster. All help much appreciated . Thanks !
