Drowned the poor girl yesterday up to the windows inside and out! Now it has no spark the ecu got drenched no water got into motor have dryed everything out and now tring to get it running. So my question is even thought the ecu is completely dry could it be stuffed would this be the only cause of no spark I have tested the coil and it is fine checked all fuses. Tb42e 1992

Do you get dash lights come on?

Have you got power going to distributor ?
Pull distributor out and make sure its clean and dry.

does the check engine light come one if it has one
if it doesnt then ecu is not powered up
also check the tps for 5v on any of the three wires
this also tells u ecu is on

u might have water in dizzy too

I have the check engine light on battery light is on air filter light is on and brake fluid light on when you turn the key to on you can hear the fuel pump running up to pressure also the normal noise from the efi. I have put a spark plug directly on the coil lead so this eliminates the cap
