Ok here's one for you electricians out there!

When i put my rock lights on, my fuel guage slowly drops down to empty.
When i turn them off it comes back up to where it should be..

are they wired straight to the battery? Where did you relay it from?

i bet your rock lights are earthed to the chassie ?, if so run another large earth cable from the battery to the chassie

Not enough earths. Go one from the battery to the body then to the chassis

I with them, run an earth from the battery to the chassis.

Yer im thinking not enough earths aswell.. Cause sometimes the temperature guage goes up and down haha - But i know for a fact that its a constant temperature.

Definitely do the main battery.

It all depends on how and what you have wired to the second battery, you should already have a good earth from the second battery to the block or alternator.

It can't do any harm to run extra ones though.

Just had a thought, are your rock lights wired off the second battery?

If so, then yes do both batteries.

sorry for the hijack but ive got kinda the same issue.
sometimes when i flick my lights from low to high, (with spotties on) ALL the lights go out. have to go back to low beam then try again. sometimes it will let me use the spotties other times nope.
any ideas?
