why are they called Sizzling?

Sizzling special edition Jeeps

Oddly named Pork Chop heads up six strangely styled four-wheel-drives from the American brand.

Off-road specialist brand Jeep has decided to show up to its yearly Easter bush bash with half a dozen eye-catching custom-made vehicles.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah – a yearly gathering that sees thousands of Jeep enthusiasts head off-road for a week of rough-and-tumble four-wheel-driving – and Jeep is bringing along six far-from-soft-roaders to celebrate.

Yes hairdressers and the back, crack and sack brigade do like them, however the fact that you can walk into a showroom and drive out with double diff locks, sway disconnects, proper low range gearing and proper rubber means that 4wders are still being targeted by the brand which is more than can be said for many other brands.

Then you consider that they have also been making Grand Cherokees for half a dozen years with 160kw/510 nm 3 litre diesels, not to mention 300+kw V8 petrol versions, with the new 2011 model topping these figures...

Nissan is still in the dark ages.
And about to take a giant leap backwards with the new model (in terms of 4wd toughness and reliability I bet)

That blue thing is nuts, if Nissan made something that looked like that... it'd sell.
