Patrol Parts in USA

I have been searching far and wide on Google and other places to find the best places to source parts (original and aftermarket). Shipping from Australia is just ridiculous which makes most of their parts too expensive. I have ordered several parts from France since my Patrol is left hand drive and there seems to be a good following for Patrols there.

My best site for finding specific part #'s and locating original parts seems to partsouq.com, they have the parts diagram and part numbers for almost everything.

Anyone with good info for parts please post here!

I am currently looking to get a snorkel, turbo dump pipe and possibly airbox. I have found a couple of companies here in the US with their own airboxes that are priced good but don't know how good the quality is.

Post up what you are looking for other than what you posted. I have been ordering parts for years and can steer ya.

I do have snorkels left. Is your Patrol TD42 or RD28?

I have y60 GR 2.8.

Do you have snorkels for this ?

Also I am installing A/C Compressor bracket and looks like alternator bar adjuster does not fit once it I put AC compressor bracket. I am seeing a different part number for Patrol F/ AIR CON on the parts sites. Does anyone know if I am going to need a new alternator bar adjust bracket for adding ac compressor bracket?

Morning. Yes snorkel will fit. Other than going through part manuals, I do not know about the bracket. Probably make one.

Found part I looking for. It is definitely smaller for fitment with AC bracket.

What brand or specifics is the snorkel?

I did not import it myself, but I paid friend of mine that sells Land Cruisers and defenders to import from France. In excellent condition and 75,000 k . He is here in Houston, TX. makes trips overseas every couple of years to find old glory's such as patrol to bring to states.

Guys,

get a good deal on adjustable panhards front and rear and Adjustable draglink from Dobinsons in US.

These are identical to what I order and already installed in my Y60. Dobinsons got order mixed up and now they have 1 extra set of the 3 items. Heavy Duty Zinc Finish.

** Note the Front Panhard is for LHD Patrol-not sure it will suite RHD.

I have been in contact with a rep there in Miami @ Dobinson so in good terms. Maybe I could try to get a club discount ???:grinroll:

If you have any questions about these, or the Sensu awning they sell that is wraparound-- ask me, i have all 4 items. Check out all their items for Patrols while you there- they can also order from AU any Dobinson Parts and freight via Ship if you dont want to pay Air Freight from AU.

Vonner990, I'm in the US and just purchased a 1990 GR Patrol with a blown head gasket. I am considering partsouq.com for the parts I need. The parts pictures show all OE products and as you mentioned, prices are reasonable and would be saving a ton on shipping compared to getting parts from Oz.

Have you ordered from them before? Are the parts actually OE?

Y60 Snorkel

I now have an extra snorkel for a Y60. I ordered a Safari for the larger bore Hi-Flow model and will be installing soon.

The extra Snorkel I have is brand new/ never installed and a standard size snorkel made for the Y60. If anyone is interested I can give it away for $50. Includes Hardware.

This is listed as fitting a Y62 but the part number os the ARB commercial winch bulbar for the Y60. If anyone is looking for ARB bulbar for Y60 Patrol or Safari this may be worth making an offer on. Aslo attached ARB printout...
