Some of these things take time to get up and go. Not much travelling has been done. I have cobwebs under mine. Going to Maryborough this evening, a photo outside a martial arts academy won’t cut the mustard.

Same here. Not sure anyone will be interested in seeing mine up on axle stands with the wheels off and the hood open. Hoping to take it out to Anglesea mid Feb, though.

Yes but i don't think comp rules specify the pic had to be taken recently ?, only that you can't enter the same pic twice, so older photos could still be used ok (correct me if wrong) , i honestly was not really bothered about entering myself, but after my little...... well, i guess sort of polite rant (that got deleted), i kinda felt sorry for the thread and thought id better post something positive to help keep it alive, it is a bit disappointing to see only 3 entries out of all the members on here, but its crazy times i guess, nothing is "normal" anymore.

Correct, rules don't say pics need to be new. The reason your post was deleted was because the rules clearly stated that the actual pic thread is not for chatter (a picture description is not considered chatter), adhering to this makes control of pics and voting much easier (in the event the Comp becomes popular).
January is closed and February opened.

Yes i understand the deletion bit , and rightly so , but i wanted to explain what i experienced , and honestly thought perhaps a new (more clearer) comp thread could have been started to announce a proper more clearer comp start/kick off, my post was meant to be informative not complaining, so i hope it came across that way ?

Either way, its a shame it failed, but thanks for the effort in attempting to get it going, it really should have been a bit of fun, and hey....maybe you need a "broken patrol in my driveway" pic comp, who knows, might just get more than 3 entries ? (lol)

Well, sadly the experiment didn't work, so will close the Picture Competition. Maybe somewhere down the track 'interest' may raise its head.
