We sometimes need to put a bead on alloy tubes for intercooler or cooling projects. But pipe beading tools seem to cost a lot for the occasional DIY project.
With a little bit of precise welding and filing, it's possible to make a cheap ebay fishing crimper into a beading tool that'll work for most small jobs.
The tube shown is 25mm, however the tool works with any tube 16mm or larger.

These are the ones I made. First one is like yours and good for intercooler pipes.
Second one I used on the fuel lines.

The fuel line one is a good idea, I need such a thing for some 10mm OD tube that I'm bending up for vacuum lines.
