Can the plastic side radiator tanks (not sure about the name) be repaired ? One of mine has sprung a leak on the right hand side near the top radiator hose.:sad:

If it is the overflow bottle that you are talking about, then just put some silicon on it, as it is not under pressure.

No, it's the radiator itself and there is plenty of pressure there.

It costs as much to replace the tanks and rod the radiator as to replace it. Been there, done that. If you replace it, careful if you buy off the net. Some are VERY sus. If the dollers allow, go a PWR alloy or a Natrad Copper brass 3 core. I went the 3 core copper brass and never had an issue again.

With Radiators, you DO get what you pay for!!!

Yep ya rite frosty
My rad had a cracked tank not 2 weeks after getting rodded
Radiator shop said bin it ,buy a newie
New rad from natrad was the go
Do shop around even between natrad direct and a natrad distributer i saved a fair wack

if your handy with a few basic tools you can replace it yourself at home, is time consuming tho.

cost is free if you can get your hands on a bugger rad with good tanks.
